About The Art

My artwork changes in relation to my life changes. The Angels & Fairies came unbidden and unexpected during a time when I faced a significant physical challenge; the Inspirations line came through after I was diagnosed a serious illness; the Landscapes were inspired by a trip to New Mexico many years ago. That's the great thing about art; the best work is unexpected and unplanned!

Each piece of artwork has a special place in my heart and represents a particular period of my life. In many ways, the art I create is not mine but rather comes through me to provide what I need during a particular moment in time. Facing a blank canvas, I find myself painting angels when feeling afraid; inspirationals when feeling bored or spiritually stagnant, and landscapes when spending most of my time indoors.

In fact, I don't create art; it helps to create me.

What is most magical is that my artwork can often brighten someone else's day and provide the joy and comfort that I am able often to find.
